The Honiara Golf club is an 18 tee 11 whole course. It has a small clubhouse that has undergone refurbishments to improve the bar and member facilities. Members range from expatriates from all corners of the world to local Solomon Islanders that have represented their country in the South Pacific Games known as the Pacific Games.
The Honiara Golf club was the former site of the US army air corps fighter 2 airfield where Lockheed lightning's were based during the Battle of Guadalcanal.
